The Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association offers a courtesy check of a pleasure craft to the boating public. This is a free service offered by qualified volunteers of the Newfoundland and Labrador Search and Rescue Association. This service will review, with the owner/operator, the equipment required to be carried on board a pleasure craft as stated in various regulations.
To do so, we need your name and contact method (voice or email) and the basic characteristics of your vessel. Depending on the vessel type/length a Check can take from 20-60 minutes.
