NLSARA and RNC Participate in Pilot Project

In June, a pilot project was initiated between the NLSARA and the RNC, in which the five new Instructor-Trainers delivered the new Searcher II training standards to two troops of RNC Cadets.

The purpose of this pilot project was twofold; firstly, it allowed an assessment of the training and delivery skills of the Instructor-Trainers, and secondly, it provided a complete run through and assessment of the new training standards.

The pilot project was an overall success. This proved beneficial since provided the Program Development Officer with an opportunity to perform final edits, deletions and additions of materials. As a result, a new revised edition of the Training Standards CD was created.
