Important Reminders For All SAR Teams

Please submit your new membership application forms, for all active members, to the Program Development Officer ASAP, as they are needed for insurance purposes and database records. A NLSARA embroidered hat will be sent out to all members with an updated application form.

Please notify your district Director and/or the Program Development Officer when members leave or are removed from a team. This is required for accurate database management.

Please keep your team contact information up to date. This is imperative as we need it to ensure that teams are receiving all Association correspondence in a timely fashion.

Report any changes of individual team executives or team coordinators to the Association Executive ASAP.

Expenses related to boating safety activities must be requested on a monthly basis. Each activity must have its own separate expense form (accessible on the web page soon!). Expenses must be reported no later than the 15th of the following month. Any expenses reported after this deadline will not be considered for renumeration.

Any questions or concerns regarding the new training standards should be directed to the Program Development Officer ASAP.

The 2005 provincial SAR Games are fast approaching. The date and location of the event will be announced as soon as all the details are arranged. Last year’s games were a tremendous success and we are looking forward to an even greater turn out this year.
